Another #jumbo #easter product that I was specifically looking out for yet somehow only spotted it when there were just three left on the shelf. Does this mean there were a whole lot of them that I just didn’t see, or that they only produced a literal few in the week before Easter? 🤔
Anyway, I swiftly grabbed two and left one behind for a lucky soul to find! Now, #stol is really not my thing at all: I find it tolerable if it’s toasted with a lick of margarine but, even then, I feel like there are more raisins than I’d like and if something has raisins then I prefer it a little spicy (like hot cross buns) rather than sweet.
My hubby, on the other hand, LOVES stol and really enjoyed this one - especially the generous layer of #almondpaste running through it. I know he will savour the second (and final loaf) after which we’ll keep our fingers crossed that we can find these on the shelves again around Christmas time.
