I'm trying to be a bit more generous with these ratings as I think the raw materials and the potential is all there for these #malaysianeats classics to be real stars. Hope this is just a case of poor execution during CNY week, when the bosses/management crew weren't around and the poorly-trained staff were left to run the place 😬 Look at how they served this, with strands of the vegetable hanging over the sides 🙄 Not to mention they didn't seem to grasp how these dishes should taste
The #kangkong was overcooked and was no longer crunchy; if kangkong starts to taste like bayam, then you did something wrong 🤷♂️ The #cuttlefish was a bit more tender than the biological version but still acceptable. The #sweetsauce with giant #peanut bits showed real promise. This could still be something great!
