Plant-based scallops!? My first time seeing this on a shelf and not having to make it myself (King oyster mushrooms ftw) 🙌🏼
I’m glad my non-vegan mom encouraged me to get them. I was tentative, as they are not cheap—but neither is seafood. (Pretty cool that you can get #veganseafood made from plants 🥔 —in this case mainly konjac.)
The coating is nicely flavored, the exterior gets crisp on an oiled pan, and the inside has a firm texture with a good chew.
My non-vegan dad said they were pretty good! Share with your local omnivore today.
