Ke Palle
Via Maqueda, 270, 90133 Palermo PA, Italy
This was the fourth and last thing we ordered at Ke Palle, an informal restaurant in Palermo with multiple vegan options to try some traditional Sicilian street food.
It was a sandwich filled with the typical panelle (made from chickpea flour) and crocchette (made from potatoes), both deep fried right before ending in the bread.
I loved the combination of the bread and these, because I felt it helped with making the dish feel less greasy. It was also a super soft bread which I really enjoyed.
This sandwich is pretty small, maybe if you’re considering this place for a whole meal I would suggest pairing this with another dish.
The price was pretty cheap: only 3.50€.
