Finally getting around to reviewing this amazing #macandcheese from the Dayton Vegfest! Sprouting Dreams is #womenowned and #minorityowned, and the owner also coordinated the whole Vegfest in addition to serving great food!
The base was truffle Mac, though I didn't notice a strong #truffle flavor. I liked that there wasn't a fake #vegancheese, it tasted lighter and more natural. The mac was topped with delicious #veganchicken which had a great texture - softer than most I've tried and with a little kick of spice in the breading. The #chipotle ranch was delicious and also had a little bit of a kick, and the slaw helped cool everything down a bit. Everything together was fantastic. A bit pricey at $15 but it was so much food and so filling! Highly recommend if you get a chance to try!
