Be careful with this one. Although the bread is vegan, the waitstaff will also plonk down a bowl of aioli next to it, which is all just egg.
I asked what it was, told him I’m vegan, and he whisked it away with no replacement. I waited forever to flag down another person to ask for something else to go with the bread so I didn’t just have dry, slightly stale bread to munch on while my main was coming.
After zero imagination I suggested at least just olive oil and they gave me the whole bottle of Picual EVOO to myself. Yay!
