A tempura fried pickle??!! This was such a wild sushi roll but somehow ended up being one of my favorites. If it had a little bit of vegan ground beef it would almost be like a burger! It has a tempura pickle, fried onions, and bbq “skin” on the outside (seemed like tofu skin marinated in bbq flavors). Very interesting flavor combinations for a sushi roll and far from traditional sushi but I loved it.
