Surprise! — here’s the one GoMacro #proteinbar that I actually like. It’s not a natural fit for me because of the #chocolatechips, but the #oats give it a really nice, hearty texture that I can get behind. It really is very cookie-like on the whole.
I have a fond memory of this flavor specifically: a few years ago, when I was still in university, I was going from lab to lab without a break and feeling faint because I hadn’t eaten in some 8+ hours. A girl in one of my lectures offered me this bar in the corridor before class, and I swear, an angelic choir started harmonizing in the distance as I opened the wrapper. It’s #glutenfree and, unlike most of their other offerings, also #nutfree (they use #sunflowerseeds butter in place of peanuts, almonds, or cashews.) A bit on the #sweettooth side, but a perfectly fortifying #snack for when you’re on the go and feeling your energy levels start to flag.
