Over the last few years, I’ve lost my sweet tooth in a big way, which has contributed to a sizable decrease in my #breakfast #cereal consumption (also, most American cereals are not vegan, usually due to vitamin fortification.) I love that this one is #glutenfree, #organic, and not sugary — it has a very mild, barely noticeable sweetness. It’s made with a blend of corn, flax, buckwheat, quinoa, and amaranth. I really enjoy the crunchiness, and I find it pairs perfectly with soy milk and a handful of blueberries. I’ve also used it to make cornflake-encrusted French toast (last photo) to the delight of vegans and omnis alike. It’s an easy recipe and a great way to use up aquafaba, too. #breakfastofchampions I don’t recall the price exactly, but I think it was about $2 (#groceryoutletfinds,) and I believe larger bags are also available. Recommended for anyone wanting a less junky start to the day!
