I’m not a fan of mock meats but I got to try out this item for free and I was pleasantly surprised! This brand’s slogan is “we don’t imitate meat, we elevate it” and I definitely agree with them. These veggie slices are primarily made of veggies and don’t have a meaty texture or taste, so I really enjoyed them! This flavor is made with a base of carrots and chickpeas! It was nicely spiced and not greasy or oily. I enjoyed it as a part of a beachside charcuterie dinner with my sister! It was such a yummy protein to enjoy alongside a conglomeration of veggies, crackers, hummus, pickles, edamame, and fruit! My sister (Omni) wasn’t crazy about this product but that makes sense. I found myself finishing off the packet as part of charcuterie meals and snack plates. There’s actually a decent amount of slices in a package. I didn’t get to try them out on a sandwich, but I’m sure that would be yummy too!
