I was delighted to find a whole Victoria sponge cake and for this price in a supermarket; that's unimaginable in Spain. The cake was dense rather than spongy and light, but delicious nevertheless. The strawberry jam also tasted great, though what surprised me the most was the mock cream; it was scrumptious and very much like the one I remember eating when I wasn't vegan. Overall, I think I'd enjoy it more if it were a bit less sweet. Yet, all of us loved it at home, so I would repurchase with my eyes closed.
