Yet another #sweet ALDI gift from @beckyyy! I previously tried and enjoyed the vanilla version of these thin, #crunchy #coconutlover #cookies, so I was thrilled to experience them in a new flavor.
I’m a bit embarrassed to say, I couldn’t identify much of a difference between the #saltedcaramel and previous vanilla biscuits. Perhaps these were a tiny bit sweeter and saltier? Although they didn’t scream #caramel to me, they were delicious nonetheless. I especially enjoyed the crispness of the toasted coconut. They are quite rich and #sweettooth-friendly, though, so I have to stop after 3 or 4. Incredibly, they’re made with just 5 recognizable ingredients, and they have no preservatives (so they do get noticeably less crunchy as time goes on — carpe diem!)
I think most people (omnis included, provided they don’t hate coconut,) would find these delicious — who could find fault with a sweet, crunchy cookie? They were a nice companion to my afternoon coffee. Once again, a tremendous thank-you to @beckyyy for the opportunity to review a snack I can’t easily find in Northern California!
