Review of Carrot Bacon Benedict at Fruits & Roots by compassionate1candy

I didn't know what to expect upon ordering this, it sounded so intriguing - #sourdough topped with #redpepperhummus , #veganhollandaise (which I couldn't find), #carrot 'bacon' and blistered #cherrytomatoes . I wasn't entirely sure what was on top.. I should have asked but I think it was some kind of #mushroom and #aubergine mousse . It all tasted so scrumptious that I finished it all very quickly. Always love the #microherbs touch on dishes.
The presentation of the dish was excellent and with the lovely atmosphere of the café and its lights overhead, made the dish sparkle.
For R90 , the price wasn't too bad. Paying for creativity, lovely presentation and delicious, well seasoned flavours.
