WOW! This was just above and beyond! A completely vegan Christmas dinner from a completely vegan cafe. The main part was a celeriac steak with shallot purée and pickled cranberries, which was absolutely delicious - I have never been the best at cooking celeriac, and they managed to make it creamy and flavourful. I also loved the perfectly cooked sprouts (on a bed of cauliflower purée!), carrot and parsnip. There was also chestnut ketchup(!) and onion gravy. But my favourite part was the roast potatoes, which were sprinkled with rosemary and thyme 😋 Such a posh meal but really well priced and they were so attentive and friendly!
