Sliced #mockmeat based on #peaprotein, an alternative to ham. The flavour is okay, but not very flavourful. I don’t really find products like these to be anything super special by itself. They’re flavoured with yeast extract, spices and natural flavourings. It doesn’t specify more than that and I’m not sure how I’d describe them. They smell a lot of #nutmeg and you can definitely taste it, as well as some onion I think. Not very meaty at all in flavour.
The texture isn’t my favourite. Not too compact and not too soft either, but it has that slightly gelatinous gummy feel to them. They’re not horrible but I don’t love them.
It is #palmoilfree and #soyfree. May contain gluten and nuts. The packaging has no note about recycling.
💵~64 NOK at Spar. Each pack contains 8 slices. Very expensive, as #organic products often are.
I recommend the #ham from Go’ Vegan instead, it’s tastier and almost half the price.
