What in the world is this you ask? I thought the same thing when it came out. Simply put, it’s grilled cabbage folded over and stuffed with lentils. But it’s so much more than that, and it might be the best thing I’ve eaten in a very long time!
From the menu this dish literally has everything you could ask for: freekeh, black lentils, porcini mushrooms, grilled Savoy cabbage, roasted fennel, celeriac, roasted garlic, charred onions, green vegetables, smoked eggplant cream, tahini and a watercress coulis.
I’m lost when it comes to if Savoy cabbage is from a place called Savoy and I really should know what a coulis is by now but I don’t 😂 but the way everything just came together in this sharing dish was incredible. Every morsel was incredible and the sauces that came with the dish were delicious.
I’d highly recommend checking out Aniba’s vegan menu! For 🇸🇬 $68 this dish was pricey but all of their entrees are sharing portions enough for 2-3 people. I’d definitely go back for this. It also came with a huge pot of roasted mushrooms which were amazing!
