It tastes good, but it isn’t heavily flavoured. I actually prefer that, it makes it really easy to season it without any flavours clashing. I don’t notice any specific #spices or herbs. It has a nice savoury taste that is a bit meaty with a mild smokiness. It’d be great for a #bbq!
It’s the type of #veganmeat that has a somewhat coarse texture, it gives the #burger some structure which I like. This #meatalternative is a bit soft according to my preferences but that’s a bit nitpicky, I found the texture pretty enjoyable! It feels #juicy without being mushy. It browned quickly in the pan and got slightly crispy on the outside.
The burgers are #palmoilfree, #glutenfree and #nutfree. The cardboard box is #plasticfree and #recyclable!
💵~33 NOK at Rema for two burgers. Currently you can get two packs for 50 at Rema. They go on sale pretty often and are easily available in lots of stores!
I would recommend them! I don’t think they’d fool any meat-eater if that’s what you’re looking for but they are good!
