Modern Love Brooklyn is always my must stop. There's actually some really cool Columbus connections. Issa's family lives here, and her mom has even come for meet-up days at Sunrise. The owner, Issa, and her Mom were also very supportive of my boss at Seitan's Realm when they started. They're nice humans.
They were doing a special lunch popup Friday with sandwiches, salads, some brunch-like items, and ice cream. I knew this had to be the day we went. This sandwich was incredible!!! The chick'n is made from tofu and drenched in a #vegan sweet and relatively spicy sauce. I loved this chick'n tofu. The texture was perfect!! They sandwich also has coleslaw, jalapeño, and mayo, and it's served on a warm garlic toasted hoagie. It was only $13 and such a large size, so we split this and a salad. And like I've said before, when your dining partner has to deal with your photoshoots, get them fries. Keeps the hanger down.
The restaurant itself is so cool and fancy. I always love sitting in the purple decorated parklet. It's such a great atmosphere any time of the day.
