This was my favorite dish of the night! I had to look up what tepary is - a legume. These little beans were so crunchy and seasoned so nicely. I just wanted to pick them up by the handful and shove them in my mouth. They'd be nice as a movie snack. But you don't want to miss out on the sunflower seed crema and berry jam/compote that's served with them. The added sweetness and creaminess made this really memorable. I really love all the unique seed/nut creams that Owamni serves. Since it's a decolonized menu, there is absolutely no dairy. This dish was $12.
