This cheezecake was an impromptu purchase for me at Metro. At $2.64, I couldn’t resist. So I bought 2. I guess being out of season, it was very heavily discounted.
Although I like pumpkin spice, I don’t think I’ve ever tried a pumpkin pie or a pumpkin cheesecake before. I’ve always shied away from it; it’s never appealed to me. But I gave this a try, and I absolutely loved it; it is beautifully spiced. It’s creamy too.
Its nutritional value leaves a lot to be desired, though. Each cheezecake offers 3 servings and although it’s a delicious source of fibre, calcium and iron, there are a lot of calories, fat, sugar and sodium. Too much in my opinion, but then again, it’s cheezecake No one ever claimed cheesecake is healthy, not even vegan cheezecake.
I’ll take my time eating this one and I think I’ll let the other sit in the freezer for a while.
