For me, a trip to #penang is not be complete without a hearty serving of #charkwayteow 😋 I asked @dafnelately for a recommendation and she did not disappoint 😘

Just gimme that #wokhei babbyyy 🔥 This #kuehteow is charred to perfection 👌 Some without my foochow-strength taste buds may call it burnt but not me 🤪 The noodle is so wonderfully soft with just the right amount of bounce. It’s a little heavier on the salt. However, it makes sense with the strong char flavour. Let’s not forget the sweet support of cabbage and carrots there 😚 Plus, there’s a good amount of #mushroom too. I can’t remember but usually I ask for no bean sprouts so that’s why this one doesn’t have any.

This solid serving came at the awkward but decent price of RM5.80 😝

Absolutely amazing… 🤤 I can’t not visit this place if I have the chance.
