Trader Joe’s #organic freeze dried #berry medley 🍓🫐 is a nice addition to a #veganpantry. Sometimes you can sprinkle some freeze dried berries over warm #oatmeal 🥣, or you could pour some into a small bowl for a quick snack. Their shelf-life is much longer than normal fruit, and in some cases even heat dried fruit, and it’s fairly convenient too! The main drawback is perhaps the plastic packaging, and also the fact that the flavors are much subtler. Hopefully we can look for some more sustainable alternatives. ♻️😄 However, freeze drying fruit does do a nice job at preserving the #antioxidants in the berries.
