It’s not easy to find #vegan-friendly #meehoonkway even though it’s such an easy dish to prepare as long as you make your own noodles. Come to think of it 🤔 Bao Si Zhai is the only vegan/vegetarian eatery that does ban-mian, u-mian and dumplings 🥟 that I know of. There used to be many but most of them ceased their businesses.
Anyway, back to this dish, it’s basically #Chinese gnocchi 🤣 you make this by pulling pieces of dough that would otherwise be made into long strands of #noodles like ban-mian (fettuccine) and u-mian (bucatini without the hole), and toss into boiling soup to cook. This one comes with a generous amount of #spinach. I added a spoon of #chillipadi 🌶️ for the extra heat.
