I was impressed by this. I hardly ever eat frozen dinners, but since this one yelled “vegan!” at me from on the package, i had to try it. I’m always eating the same things these days and that gives me nothing to review, so why not.
Looking at it as it came out of the microwave, i had low expectations. It looks like some chopped vegetables — based on sight alone you’d think the dish would be dry and not very flavorful.
Well i was wrong! As it turns out, the lentils/rice/quinoa mix is very creamy, and the veggies are just fine — they definitely have flavor, and aren’t too salty either. Yay!
I’d have this again. My only wish would be for this meal to be larger — i could easily eat two of these, without even being super hungry.
