I love these. I think they are so handy to have in the fridge for lunches. I’ve mostly had them in wraps or salads or I’ve fried them up with some rice for a filling dinner.
Texture wise they are soft and smooth. If you are looking for a chicken replacement that has the texture of chicken don’t bother with these. I personally have issues with meatier textures so this is perfect for me.
Taste wise, I think they are a good base to add on to. You can taste the spices they add but they are mild. I have a feeling that without the spices the pieces themselves would be fairly bland.
£1.75 for two 100g portions isn’t bad. 100g comes out at a lot so I reckon you could split a pack into three portions if you bulk your meal out with other things.
