I was excited to finally find these at TJ’s, but I wasn’t sure what kind of sauce to do. I didn’t want to overwhelm the pumpkin flavor with a tomato sauce so I opted for just minced garlic (with a bit of leftover spinach) and olive oil. As I suspected, it was super bland. I added pepper and TJ’s Unami seasoning as I find that makes almost everything better! It helped a little, so I melted some Violife feta for a little tang. Ultimately, it was still disappointing and I wouldn’t buy it again.
