My family had a late birthday celebration at an Italian restaurant in Richmond Hill (Il Fornello) that had assembled a decent vegan menu. The main courses were limited to pizza and pasta, with about 5 choices for each. This is much more than most non-vegan restaurants do! 😊
A couple of us ordered this Orecchiette Bomba. (“Orecchiette” means “ears” in Italian) This type of pasta conjures up a lot of childhood memories for me - family lunches on Sunday and it’s one of my faves too. The sauce wasn’t as spicy as anticipated, but still delicious nonetheless. The pasta was perfectly al dente too.
