Takeaway using my metal tingkat at the side! I always enjoy stinky beans (petai), but I was having a bit of sore throat from all the fried potato wedges I devoured during lunch, so i went with just petai fried rice for dinz. And it was a mistake :( Sambal petai is the ONLY way to go for the fried rice!! They added some aniseed spice for this non-spicy version which was kinda out of place and tasted like eckk. The rest of the dish is fine. Overall, should have stuck with sambal petai even with my sore throat, lesson learnt.
