
Trying this vegan tuna substitute was a confusing experience. All in all, it’s so-so, if you can let go of all expectations that it resemble tuna in any way. It’s chewy, chunky, and more oily and salty than I would like; the sriracha flavor, meanwhile, is super mild and unassertive. There’s also a half-hearted attempt at a fishy aroma that I don’t particularly care for. I neither loved nor hated Tuno — mostly, I just found it incredibly strange.
