Isles Bun & CoffeeのVegan Fig Ginger Scone —Iszyのレビュー（2022年6月5日）

Today's scone flavor is definitely more adventurous than last week's chocolate cherry scone. I enjoyed the originality, but thought it could have been executed better. The fig and chewy candied ginger pieces were presented in huge chunks throughout the scone. I didn't mind biting into the fig, but the ginger pieces got pretty unpleasant for me about half way through. This could just be because I enjoy ginger in moderation. Towards the end I found myself picking out the pieces so I wouldn't have to bite into any more. I would have like it more if the ginger was milder and more mixed into the batter throughout the scone.
