I bought the chickpeas for a recipe that also used aquafaba. Unfortunately, there was hardly any aquafaba in the tin. The chickpeas were already ready to eat and only slightly slimy. I rinsed them with a little water and used that. If you need aquafaba, you should rather use another product. The chickpeas themselves were good.
