Wish I had taken individual pics of each donut, so I could write separate reviews for each one. Alas, I was too busy devouring them 😂
Tracking down this Dunkin’ Donuts led us down a rabbit hole of note! It’s a little pop-up shop situated in the middle of the outdoor ‘Designer Outlet Mall’ in Roermond. Seeing long queues outside premium stores like Gucci and Prada left me feeling strangely unsettled (never mind out of place… a fashionista I am certainly not 😂 …nor could I ever justify spending so much money on clothes/accessories).
Anyway, once we found it I was so happy to see lots of vegan options! And the cutest donuts of the lot were vegan! I picked a random mix and it was hilariously predictable which ones my boys picked… Orange lion 🦁 for my littlest (with the most divine custard-type filling, and orange sprinkles that went EVERYWHERE), Dutch flag 🇳🇱 for my eldest (no special filling, but fresh and delicious), and a yellow smiley 😊 for hubby (filled with a custard-like filling, similar to the lion).
I ended up eating most of the more plain glazed cinnamon swirl ring donut (it was YUM) 🍩 and then we all shared the strawberry 🍓 donut (filled with an almost liquid-like filling… messy and sweet, but good) and the final one was a bit like a jam donut but not quite the same 🤷🏻♀️
An awesome treat and look forward to repeating it soon. I think I’ll choose the smiley or the lion next time, as they were the most original/tasty in my opinion.

Oh girl… you should go when it’s christmas! The Santa donut is the most delicious og all! Oh how i miss Dunkin (there is no in my area) 😢 What a hard life i have (😅😂)
