As any Nasi Lemak enthusiast will tell you, the most important things in a Nasi Lemak are the sambal and the coconut rice, and I’m happy to say BOTH ARE ABSOLUTELY NAILED in this dish! The coconut rice is the perfect texture and the coconut flavouring isn’t overpowering! The sambal is a good blend of sweet and spicy (though IMO I’d like more heat). The pickle and okra are just nice supporting cast to the real stars of the show!
