Am pleased that Pullman Bakery has alt mylk options albeit at an additional charge of $0.50 for soy mylk and $0.70 for oat. They have an appetising range of drinks, including lavender tea and yuzu tea. I love hojicha so I decided to try their caramel hojicha latte, intrigued by that unique combination. The verdict is: so-so. A strong and inviting whiff of caramel greets you on your first sip, mingling gently with the earthy taste of Dryk oat mylk. Good enough so far, but I could very barely taste that roastytoasty flavour of hojicha that I so adore and was looking forward to. So overall, not terribly bad, but not enough hojicha groundedness to really satisfy. I look forward to trying their other drinks though.
