Review of Gucchi Pulao at Flying Monkey by fourdollars
I really liked the french morel mushrooms that was used to fry the pulao. It's almost truffley in its taste, yet chewy. It was a great combination with the really fluffy basmati rice. Loved it. The side gravy was coconut curry in taste, quite sweet too, so the amount is more than sufficient. I liked their pickled shallot too! Great flavour. This cost $24+ (no GST) which was a little on the high side. Very filling however.
