This is almost too good! I had no idea what to expect of dessert hummus and I was blown away. If you didn't know it was hummus, you wouldn't guess that it is. It's like a mousse that has just the right balance of pumpkin flavor, spices and sweetness.
I served it on organic Ritz-like crackers and the combo was delicious. The hummus is sweet enough on its own so a neutral-to-savory cracker is all it needs. I'm sure it would be good with apple slices, too, but I haven't tried that.
