Review of Vegan Scotch Pie - Bell's by julesbateman

I was very curious to try these out, just cause I’ve never had Scotch Pies before (so I can’t compare them with the original ones unfortunately).

They come for only £1.50 and I found them at Sainsbury’s.
Taste is not great for me as it’s very pork-like, as well as its texture. Overall, it’s very peppery! The shortcrust pastry is nice and crunchy though. The pie is very compact and I was able to cut through it without breaking it apart.

Honestly, I’m not going to buy it again, it’s too meaty for me. But it could be a good alternative for those vegans who miss their traditional pies I guess.
