Shu Vegetarian StallのMala Soup Set —Aのレビュー（2020年9月21日）

Rainy day calls for a bowl of piping hot mala soup! It has been a while since I had mala and have been craving for it recently. First time trying SHU Vegetarian and decided to go for the Mala Soup Set. At first glance, it looks normal and so-so but after reheating it and transferring it to a bowl, it was pretty volumous! There are baiye dofu, soft tofu, mock fish balls, emoji, black fungus, carrots, greens, vegetarian tofu fishcake etc and more! The set comes with a choice of rice or Maggie noodle (I picked the latter). This is totally worth it for $6.90. The soup was more towards the bland side as compared to the usual mala xiang guo and not as oily nor spicy which is great for those looking for a 'lighter' meal in the evenings! Will definitely try out their other specialities on the menu
