Review of Steamed Assorted Mushroom Dumplings Infused with Truffle Oil at Din Tai Fung by waisum
Thought they'd managed to veganise the pork broth in their XLBs but these turned out to be regular dumplings with "dry" mushroom stuffing. Not sure why they call them XLBs if there's no broth in them 🤔 and much of the truffle flavour was lost after I dunked them in vinegar and ginger sauce (which is a good way of masking the truffle if you're not a fan)
