I thought #spinach was a bit random but maybe that’s traditional and I am unaware..? The pudding was nice and no sultanas. The cream was like a squirty cream or whipped cream which was a new one for us. Normally this is served with custard or my partner prefers that. The #toffee sauce was at the bottom and I agreed it was too minimal and really should be poured over the top so it’s drowning in the golden molten lava. 🌋 We were here at about 4pm on a Sunday and got to enjoy the quiet luxury of the upstairs dining room mostly to ourselves while it was busy and bustling downstairs and outside. I was gobsmacked that the dessert prices had all increased since the weekend before by 30p. This was £8.25. It’s crazy posh around this neighbourhood and we’d just come from Farmacy in Notting Hill where the desserts were almost all double the price. Happy to pay that price to support an #allveganrestaurant. I loved this when I had it at their other branch and it didn’t disappoint this time. It didn’t taste particularly cheesy to me though. While it looked very nice I probably would have put the lid on the plate and covered with the scramble as well and then topped with a rocket or watercress 🌱🌿or another green herb garnish with the chives. I think that would raise the level of presentation and enjoyment. This was only £8.95 which seems cheap for this part of town at Sloane Square. This place was practically empty which makes me nervous for them. 😬 it’s an #allveganrestaurant with another branch in Marylebone which I’ve been to. First time trying this branch. They have outdoor seating and downstairs seating for coffee and pastries. Upstairs is the proper fancy dining room.
