We believe in food that works for you, to nourish you as healthfully as possible…without sacrificing flavor. Based on the anti-inflammatory food pyramid, the brainchild of our founder Dr. Andrew Weil, renowned doctor of integrative medicine, every single ingredient on our menu is carefully selected and hand-crafted into signature dishes that make eating well effortless, energizing and most importantly, full of flavor. We’re known for our philosophy. We’re loved for our food. Whether it’s a well-massaged kale salad with a tart and lemony dressing, the hearty comfort of a bowl of beloved grains or a rustic handmade pizza piled high with a rainbow of the season’s best bounty, we believe that good food evokes a good mood. And you should have both in abundance. For everything. Each one of our restaurants has its own chef-led culinary team who take ingredients, spices and one-of-a-kind finds to bold new heights with an eye for peak-season freshness, bright flavors and combinations, and an always creative take on your classic favorites. At our table, we believe you should eat with passion. We believe the choices you make should sustain your appetite, your health and your planet. We believe in approaching food – both making it and eating it – with genuine curiosity and a healthy dose of creativity. And we do it all with a firm commitment to one thing. Staying TRUE to every word. And we believe that’s something to feel good about. Grab a seat.

#truefoodkitchen #teriyaki #quinoa Before coming to Las Vegas, I googled “vegan restaurants on Las Vegas strip”. This restaurant, True Food Kitchen, came up. Unlike many other names, this restaurant offers more than just the token vegan burger. The chefs here really put some serious creative thought in their vegan menu items. Vegan options are available for appetizers, salads, pizza, burgers and desserts. So I made it a point to come here. In fact, this post is for my second visit to this restaurant this week! True Food Kitchen is located in Forum Shops at Caesar’s Palace. For my lunch, I ordered the Teriyaki Quinoa Bowl. It was $18.50 US. (I had intended on getting the Vegan Double Cheeseburger, but I was dressed too nicely, so I opted for something less messy) And without any regrets, I thoroughly enjoyed this dish. Its ingredients were clean and healthy. Food made from real food. It was a wonderful mix of organic quinoa brown rice, broccoli, rainbow carrot, bok choy, green beans, snap peas, pickled shiitake and Chef Matt’s Magical Dust (whatever that is). The half avocado on top was a pleasant surprise which added to the healthiness of this offering. The health conscious would appreciate this dish. My cousin, an omnivore, frequents True Food Kitchen regularly (a different location, though) and she just realized she has been unknowingly choosing vegan dishes here. One does not have to be vegan to appreciate deliciousness of vegan dishes. Some menu items are very seasonal, so the menu changes throughout the year. I very highly recommend this restaurant. Please see my post from yesterday of this restaurant’s Roasted Butternut Squash Pizza for a glimpse of the other vegan options.
