Unlike many other names, this restaurant offers more than just the token vegan burger. The chefs here really put some serious creative thought in their vegan menu items. Vegan options are available for appetizers, salads, pizza, burgers and desserts. So I made it a point to come here. In fact, this post is for my second visit to this restaurant this week! True Food Kitchen is located in Forum Shops at Caesar’s Palace. I returned to True Food Kitchen with my cousin. For her lunch, she ordered the Ancient Grains Bowl. It was $19 US. She’s ordered this before and absolutely loves it. Although she’s an omnivore, it dawned on her during our conversation that she eats vegan more than she realizes. This dish is loaded with goodness. It has miso sesame-glazed sweet potato, charred onions, snap peas, portobello, avocado, organic grains, cilantro pumpkin seed pesto, hemp seed and turmeric. The health conscious would appreciate this dish. One does not have to be vegan to appreciate deliciousness of vegan dishes. Some menu items are very seasonal, so the menu changes throughout the year. I very highly recommend this restaurant. Please see my post from yesterday of this restaurant’s Roasted Butternut Squash Pizza for a glimpse of the other vegan options.
