I finally got all my Disney reviews posted so now I’m moving on to our day in Universal Studios! We mainly spent all our time in the Harry Potter parks, because we’re huge fans! The only dairy-free Butterbeer available is the frozen version, which is better than the regular anyway! It’s a non-alcoholic, super sweet, frozen slushy that we all shared. I’m not a big beverage person, especially sweetened drinks, but this was fun to try, surprisingly tasty, and added to the immersive experience! #veganuniversalstudios #florida #harrypotter #butterbeer #vegantreats #vegandrinks #vegansnacks #sweettreats #frozen

Peep the Hogwarts castle in the background!! These smelled so good but it was surprisingly disappointing. Maybe because I naturally compared this pretzel to the massive German one we shared in Disney World? It was pretty hard and dry, even difficult to swallow. The salt and multiple packets of mustard saved it but it was not what I expected. We tried a churro from this cart as well, which I did not like at all (I’m not a fan of churros anyway). Finding vegan food in Universal Studios is a little trickier than in Disney World, especially in the Harry Potter Parks. I was grateful to locate this plant-based dish which was a mushroom and veggie gravy pot pie and salad. I don’t really enjoy pastry with savory foods so this wasn’t my favorite, but I love mushrooms and appreciated the fresh salad! The dressing wasn’t very good and I ended up adding malt vinegar from the table to my meal to add some flavor. Not a great source of protein but lots of fiber and filled me up!
