The chicken rice was very fragrant and flavorful. Chilli was quite spicy and added a nice kick to the rice. What struck me was the popularity of the stall. It was odd to see a long queue at the vegetarian stall (there were 15-20 people in front of me 😮‍💨) but no queues at the other non-vegetarian stalls in the coffee shop selling duck rice, mala etc. It seems that if one could cook tasty plant-based food and sell it at mass-market prices, many people would turn vegan without even realizing it. 🤔 #chickenrice #veganinsingapore

This was okay! I found the broth and meat a bit too bitter and peppery, but i liked the texture of the ‘mutton’ and it came with a good portion of that for the price (I think $4.50? Had it a few days ago and forgot already!). I’d be keen to try other dishes here, but this one is not for me. Also, it’s such a popular stall! Plan to wait in line for a while if you go at peak lunch hours 😅

The goodness of the food is hidden under, there's youtiao, some mock meat. We added fried egg for a insider menu. Hence, not vegan. But like what I said, it's insider menu , so vegan don't worry!! enjoyed the food. But suggest to go early because we went for a late lunch so its a bit cold. 😅

The base is the same as their usual soy sauce noodle bases with mini bits of crispy flour balls. Comes with some tasty sliced soy ‘meat’, tasteless konnyaku ‘fish’ balls & tasteless ‘prawns’ but the gravy was flavourful enough! A generous portion of yellow noodles.
