Obligatory Taco Bell post. This weekend, I tried the new #vegan cheese option at Taco Bell. It was pretty good. The cheese comes with their seasoned fries for about $2.50, which is very cheap. I like that many fast food chains are trying to bring in vegan options. This means less budget spending on animals products and potentially more people will try vegan options. I actually have seen many mixed opinions on these new options. I saw a heated argument on a sanctuary owners FB page about them trying the new cheese sauce. The woman who wasn't happy with my friend trying it said while vegan businesses are struggling to stay open, a bunch or vegans are flocking to this fast food chain that predominantly supports animal abuse. I do agree with this, but also this is also a win as we want mainstream places like this to provide vegan options... Thus, I will try to support these options at least once.
