Chole masala Wrap

A delicious chickpea curry but it didn't really work in a wrap...

The curry isn't as thick as their beans curry so it's a messy business trying to get a bit of curry & a piece of wrap in one bite.

But! It was delicious.

This is very much like the dhal they serve with their breyani.

I did find this one particularly more watery but the flavour was okay.

Bought via Ubereats on the Buy 1, Get 1 free special.

Correction : Rondeboschh branch.

Chickpea & Kachumber Salad

Never would I have thought I'd enjoy the addition of chickpeas to a simple salad as much as I did...

Fresh & delicious. 

So very simple but crazy good.

Tofu Malabhar

R145 on Ubereats...
Expensive for the very few pieces of tofu you get.

Tastewise - it may have an odd dark colour but it's actually really tasty.
Overall you get more rice than curry which isn't a vibe.

Kachumber Salad

On a hot lazy summers day this was a treat to add to leftover plates & bowls.

Fresh ingredients that needed no frills.

Punjabi Samoosas

Theres a lot of pastry here and I wasnt a fan, but Hubz really enjoyed it.

The potato & pea mash filling was tasty, but I couldn't get past the heaviness of the pastry.

R55 for 2 on Ubereats.

Soya Chicken Curry

I ordered this mild but will try hot from Constantia the next time.

It was delicious and I got two bits of potato instead of the usual one lol.

The spices in this curry is bang-on 🙌🏾 and the rice a decent accompaniment.

Aloo Paratha

Oh no, Prashad 🫤

There was absolutely no sign of the 'delicious  spicy potato filling'.
It was just a tasteless naan.

Hugely disappointed.

Vegan Chicken Tikka

R155 on Ubereats.

Disappointing meal... 
Huge chunks of On the Green Side chicken tossed in Tikka sauce. Rock hard naan. Dismal chips.

Never again.

Aloo Matar

R135 on Ubereats. Got it on a Buy 1, get 1 free special.

Taste was like a tomato bredie. The portion is way too small for the price.

Butter bean curry

I enjoyed this butter beans Curry with rice.

Tasty and perfect heat as requested but man, 1 piece of potato ☹️

Mushroom Kadai

Mushrooms & green peppers in a Curry sauce.

I'm officially not a fan of mushrooms in Curry. For me, it just doesn't work.
