this #veganburger was juicy and yummy. classic #vegancomfortfood I was, however, disappointed that this previously #plantbased restaurant is offering non-vegan dessert. #dobetter #disappointed they used to have amazing specials but their menu seemed a little uninspired yesterday, the last day of November 2024 #bringbackdates and some holiday humour

I was a little disappointed in this previously #100percentplantbased restaurant. they now offer dessert but it is not vegan. When I asked, they said it was too be more inclusive. I was starting to drool over the donuts until I saw the sign. Why would a plant based restaurant not offer plant-based dessert? The donuts are not on the menu so the food menu still claims to be #plantbased These #fries were OK. There are a lot of toppings and they got a little soggy. it might be better to put the liquid toppings on the side as a dip. The salsa had minimal #evilweed that was easy to pick off. Southern California is cilantroland and they smother everything with it. 🤢 They have always had a menu full of #vegancomfortfood but also offered unique specials, which was lacking yesterday (30 november 2024 #bringbackdates ) and some encinitas Street art.

While these fries were very good, the real star here is the Ranch dressing on the side. I’m typically a ketchup gal, but this Ranch was amazing! And they are happy to give you more. #fries

I love this place, though I admit this wasn’t my favorite dish. It was good, but a bit greasy and I couldn’t really taste the house-made kraut. I didn’t get a photo, but my friend’s Nashville Chicken Tacos were excellent. Love the vibe of this place and it has a great beer selection. Staff are very friendly and will give you samples of any beer you want to try (as well as their other drinks like hard cider and kombucha). #beer #brewery

i love a good #darkbeer and was not disappointed. this is 14% alcohol and it was lunch time, so i ordered a small. i prefer a little foam on my beer, but it was still good. their #beer selection rotates and they are all #vegan 🍻 so no need to check barnivore. #ditchdairydrinkbeer

a very good #burger. I did not really taste the smoky seitan. they have the best #fries here plus a fun place to people watch and enjoy the few places in encinitas that haven't been torn down, including the historic la paloma theatre across the street. (historic by US standards.) i always appreciate a #100percentplantbased menu.

Modern Times is loved by me as well as my non-vegan family members! Their food couldn’t be more affordable and delicious! They also have so many menu items that you won’t find anywhere else, like their vegan munchwrap. I’m a big fan of their mac and cheese!!

i live dark beer but don't always like stout. this was delicious. the menu said hazelnut & vanilla. It kind of had coffee undertones to me. I would drink this again. I love that it is a plant-based restaurant so you don't have to wonder what is vegan. I also love that I can walk there in less than 10 minutes. #supportlocal #ditchdairydrinkbeer

This sandwich was amazing! The bread, the sauce, the vegan pork meatballs, the little slices of cucumber and jalapeño. It all came together deliciously 🥰😋. the staff is always friendly and the food is always delicious. True conversation that happened as my cousin was reviewing the menu after i pointed out the top of the menu where it said the menu was 100% plant-based: cousin: so what i can eat? there's meat in everything. me: the menu is completely plant-based cousin: OH!!! I thought that meant that the paper the menu was printed on was plant-based! followed by an eye roll and group laugh #supportlocal #sandwich

I probably don't need to say they were no leftovers. There were three types of sauce on these loaded fries. All of them were delicious. You get your chose of toppings and we chose vegan Asada. In addition to a completely plant-based menu, I appreciate that they use cloth napkins and real cups for water. #fries #potatolover #supportlocal

The sandwich is pretty small for the price but was delicious. I wish they served beers I like but probably not a good idea in the middle of the day anyway. Their food is delicious and their menu changes every month so you can try something new every time you go. It's so refreshing going somewhere that is not a chain. we asked for ranch instead of buffalo sauce - it's delicious, full of dill.
