My friends surprised me with an early birthday cake yesterday 🥹🫶 This vegan lemon and raspberry cake from Lola’s cupcakes 🧁 is to DIE for! It tastes so good - the perfect amount of sweetness and the cream actually tastes good (i typically don’t enjoy cream on cakes but this one was 🤌🤌). La mia migliore amica è appena tornata da Londra ed è rimasta estasiata dal cupcake RedVelvet (quello a destra) … ha detto che era morbidissimo , la crema “cremosa” ed il sapore praticamente identico al normale . Ha detto che è stato uno dei migliori dolci mangiato fin ora e che dovevo assolutamente mettere il massimo dei voti. Prezzo €3,90 l’uno .

Ok so - I don’t think Lola’s cupcakes taste the best. Their cupcakes feel mass-produced and meh quality. That said, they really are quite widely available throughout London so thats fab!! You can find them at kiosks in many of the underground stations. This biscoff cupcake was filled with a dab of Biscoff spread then iced with a tangy Biscoff cream cheese. It looked pretty with the caramel drizzle and the cookie crumble. To be completely honest, I found it too sweet and rich and did not finish it all. Overall a fun treat but improvements in quality could be made! #cupcakes #lotus #biscoff #sweettooth

The actual cake bit of this was tasty, but I didn’t like the cream cheese frosting. It was greasy and heavy. Overall ok but we are spoiled in London with better options. #cupcake #londoneats

I followed @rikesh and @sopheen ‘s advice and tried Lola’s Cupcakes again…and this time was incredible! The frosting was tangy and complimented the tender, sweet cake perfectly. There was even a hidden bit of jam in the center. I will now be looking for any excuse return - let me know if you wanna meet for delicious vegan cake :) #cake

Hm, this was ok! It tasted nice and looked very pretty but didn’t seem freshly baked. With cupcakes so expensive, I was expecting a fresh treat. Still, I enjoyed it! Happy easter everyone 🌷 #cupcakes
