Delicious, slightly sour, spicy (medium spicy) great texture. Something different. Nice compliment to the milder curry. Great with the hopper.

Delicious, rich but not too rich, mild spicy, flavourful and slightly sweet. Nice compliment to the mango curry or other more sour and spicier dishes. This one is milder.

This hopper is more recognised as appam or palappam. There’s some familiarity with a nice dosa batter mix. Made with a fermented rice batter and coconut milk. Recommended to have these opposed to rice for lighter carbs and I was glad we did! It soaked up all the flavor and wiped clean our bowls.

Wattaka Kalu Pol ($16) Butternut Squash cooked in blackened coconut gravy. One of their bestsellers apart from the Dahl. It’s simple but so delicious. Soak up all the goodness with a hopper.

Polos Kottu ($18) Hot, greasy, satisfying, great portion for sharing. Previously when we had it delivered, it served up to 4 people. Satisfying pile of chopped roti stir fried with vegetables, spices and baby jackfruit. Fellow vegans, do note that Polos Kottu is cooked with eggs, kindly let the staff know to omit.
