Been DECADES since I experienced the delight of pairing super ripened (so soft!) guava slices with 'suan mei fen' or sour plum powder. Can tell this is going to be my newly-rediscovered obsession for the next few weeks. 🖖🏻

Uneven experience here - was told the papaya juice and guava juice were out of stock even though the cut fruit versions were clearly available. Settled for the honeydew juice instead, but really, honeydew is best eaten not drunk.

Nein, this ain't sashimi but better: papaya! Was back at this pitstop earlier than I thought for another coffee and fruit sess (yes weird pairing I know 🙃). This papaya was ripe, juicy and glorious. 🌅

Juicy, slurpy and beat this mad tropical heat way better than an actual fan. This fruit stall is a regular pitstop when I'm in the vicinity.

Fruit juice always tends to have this foodcourt curse of tasting like a mix of random juices rather than the one you order. Not this celery juice though. Although this could be down to the fact that I was here bright and early on a weekday morning and possibly the first juice customer of the day. 🙂 Not complaining!

Proof that foodcourt chain Kopitiam DOES listen to feedback. Sometime back I wrote in with a suggestion to offer cut fruit with less plastic packaging when I noticed that the only fruit it sold were in disposable plastic cups. There's a slight improvement now with fruit slices now prepacked in plastic bags, rather than cubed and prepacked in plastic cups. The honeydew itself, of course, was delicious. #fruitisnevertheproblem #deathbyplastic

I swear this Sarawak pineapple does more core work than me (true story, I still do terrible pushups and low boats- because the core was way hard - geddit? 😃 For this cut slab of pineapple which is meant to be chompable on the go just like that, I had to plate it and eat it with a knife and fork. Which I totally didn't mind, except that even the knife couldn't cut through the core. 🤷🏻‍♀️ I suppose I should work on my shoulder strength too. Um, actual review: this Sarawak pineapple was ABSOLUTELY sweet and delish.

Wood and plastic - mix of nature and synthetic tools for consuming this honeydew, a delicate #fruit. Honeydew used to take a backseat to watermelon in my opinion, but I'm starting to appreciate this understated melon rich in potassium, folate and Vit B6 in recent months.
