I recommended the brownie sundae to my non-veg family as I remembered enjoying it when I had it some years ago. Good call on my part cos the fam all liked this the most among the items we ordered! 😄🍨 Thick slab of dense flourless sweet potato brownie made using sweet potato (didn't taste strange despite sounding very healthy), coconut flour, oat flour, almond milk, coconut milk, and coconut oil. 🍠🍫 Served with a single scoop of ice-cream; we picked the Black Forest ice-cream flavour with cherry compote swirled into their coconut milk base, which tasted pretty good without artificial additives! 🍒🥛 Came with two toppings of choice - we opted for the mocha crunch with coffee grounds, chocolate chips, and toasted almonds (please do yourself a favour and get this topping!!), as well as cacao nibs. ☕ P.S. Single scoop ice-cream tucked between 2 handcrafted cookies of choice! We opted for the #glutenfree oatmeal almond cookie and hojicha cookie which leaned towards being soft and crumbly in texture; the staff mentioned that the gluten-free double chocolate chip cookie had more of a crisp snap. 🍪🍨 We got their bestselling Blue Planet ice-cream flavour as my mum was attracted by its unique colour 🌎 consisting of butterfly pea flower-infused coconut cashew milk vanilla base with almond milk matcha cake as mix-ins. 🥛🍵 The cookies were not bad on their own, but overall this got a little messy to eat and I think it's also important to pick the right flavour of ice-cream; perhaps something more basic and neutral tasting would have complemented the cookies better! Dense chocolate cake with a thick ganache, made using gluten-free flour, cocoa powder and dairy-free chocolate, coconut milk, avocado, and flaxseeds. 🍰🍫🥥🥑 The staff heated it up (spot the mini melted bit haha) but I personally found the sponge slightly dry and crumbly, and would have liked it to be a tad more moist. Locaba specialises in diabetic-friendly desserts, and a selection of their vegan cakes are available in-store at Kind Kones outlets (without the pretty toppings you get if you order a whole cake from Locaba). This keto bake consisted of layers of cinnamon-scented carrot and walnut sponge cake, covered in vegan cream cheese frosting. 🍰🥕🧀 To make this vegan and gluten-free, ingredients such as flaxseed meal, coconut butter, almond milk, coconut butter, coconut oil, as well as coconut and arrowroot flour were used. 🌴🥥 Personally wasn't such as a fan as there seemed to be an aftertaste which I found a bit unpleasant, possibly from the table sugar substitute. Made my way to Paragon to get 10% off a scoop of icecream at Kind Kones! They let me try lots of flavours, which were all yummy (special shoutout to the pandan gula melaka), this one was the winner. I’m a sucker for nut and caramel combo. The pieces of almond mixed with the caramel swirls and brittle was sooo yummy.

This one's their most popular / best flavour as they advertise, and I can guarantee they aren't lying. I'd add this as my second best flavours from Kind Kones. Filled with loads of chunks of almods, of course it is too sweet but do take a cheat meal once in a while for a flavour like this. Those who pay by Kris+ have a 10% discount on total bill as well as any abillion members get a 10% off as part of the vegan dining club discounts.

The tricky part here is being a "gluten free" cake, where it is usually quite hard to achieve the texture, so wasnt' expecting too much. Not bad this one kinda managed to balance the texture and taste in its nutty flavour, covered with sweet cream cheese which I felt was a bit too sweet but given the core flavour is slightly bittery / not so sweet, it does balances well. Good try for sure for a gluten free cake but could still get better.

🏆This is probably my favourite (or 2nd) flavour so far from Kind Kones~ 🍵I think they really hit the matcha tones, whilst mixing it with the the nutty flavours from nuts. The bitterness is what I especially like, although I imagine some might not like bitter. To me, it serves as a good balance with the creaminess. First time trying kind kones and saffron in a dish so I was pleasantly surprised by the sweet taste and thoroughly enjoyed this with the wholemeal cone. Love that it feels guilt-free but it’s definitely on the pricier side for this plant-based option so will probably try other flavours only when I want to splurge to treat myself 🤭

🥛First time I've seen Kind Kones use oat mylk as their base. So I tried! ☺️Taste was not bad. It was sweet but not over the top. 🍫I think the nice part were the fixings, like the almond and chips. Like little surprises to tickle my tongue. 🛢️Texture came out well. But I noted that coconut oil was included. Given that ice cream/ gelato is already higher on the fat content, and I assume SoGood oat milk probably has added oils too.... it'd be great to always consider oil free recipes.
